"One evening I got home and picked up my guitar and my left hand made a random chord shape on the fret board. My right hand strummed across the strings and the sound that I heard became the first chord of the song 'February In England'. I didn’t hear Nick Drake or John Martyn for the first time until some two years later, so I don't know where the influences came from- must have been a lucky accident."
